Above you can see the screenshots between an Online Casino Live Dealer game vs an Animated Computer based algorithm game.
What is the difference?

The computer based algorithm is typically used online are quite a bit more complicated. A vastly simplified explanation is that a random number is generated by a server, and the number generated correlates to the cards which are to be virtually dealt to players on their desktops, tablets and smart phones. The data is then sent via the the internet to those devices by encrypted messages which cannot be easily interpreted – even by experts.
Live Dealer is a new option started to become available at online casinos in Europe: cameras are placed on real human dealers in actual casinos, and the real cards being dealt are then shown to players via the internet on the players desktops, tablets and smart phones.
The video of the cards being shuffled and dealt is streamed in real time. It’s just like you’re playing in a real casino, but you’re controlling your actions remotely.

Let's Play Blackjack
LIVE DEALER BLACK JACK
Objective:
To beat the dealer by having a higher card total without going over 21

Card Value:
2 to 10 = Face Value
J, Q, K = 10
Ace = 1 or 11
The suit plays no role in Blackjack.

The Lingo: (Definitions)
Blackjack = an Ace and a card worth 10 points (21 total)
Hole = the dealer’s card that is face down
Hit = draw another card
Stand = take no more cards
Bust = going over 21

How to Play:
Players place bets by putting the desired number of chips in the circle in front of their seat.
- The dealer deals two cards face up to each player. The dealer receives one card face up and one face down.
- The dealer asks each player, in turn, whether they want to hit or stand.
- Base your decision on the assumption that the dealer has a card worth 10 points in the hole.
- Indicate that you want a hit by tapping the table or making a motion to beckon another card (as if motioning someone to “come on back”). Continue until you desire no more cards.
- If you don’t want a hit (or are finished hitting), indicate so by waving your hand back and forth face down over your cards.
- Once all players have made their decisions, the dealer reveals his hole card and hits or stands as appropriate.
- Payouts are issued based on the outcome.

To Win:
If your total is higher than the dealer’s (or if the dealer busts), you win.

Let's Play Roulette
LIVE DEALER ROULETTE
Objective:
The objective of American Roulette is to make correct predictions as to which numbered slot the roulette ball will land on. Making correct guesses awards the player with a payout according to the type of bet they made and the amount of the bet.

The Wheel and the Numbers:
Roulette is French for "little wheel." On this wheel are 36 numbers and a 0; on some American tables, there is a "00." A croupier sends a small white ball spinning that will eventually land on one of the numbers. Bets are placed on the table, correlating with the slots the ball can possibly land in.
On the table are the numbers and a few other options:
-
1st 12
-
2nd 12
-
3rd 12
-
1-18
-
19-36
-
Even
-
Odd
-
Black
-
Red

The bets: (Definitions)
Inside Bets
Know the different "inside" bets. In roulette, you have to anticipate the number or type of pocket on which the ivory ball is going to land. To do this, there are a range of bets you can make."Inside" bets, or bets placed on specific numbers, generally have higher paying odds. You can bet:
-
"Straight up" betting on one number pays 35 to 1
-
Split betting on two numbers pays 17 to 1
-
"Street" betting on three numbers pays 11 to 1
-
Three numbers can be bet with just one chip. It can be placed on the end of any "street" (the row of 3 numbers) on the table map.
-
Corner betting on four numbers pays 8 to 1
-
The chip lies on the intersection of the four numbers.
-
Six line betting on 6 numbers pays 5 to 1
-
The chip lies on the edge of two adjoining streets.
-
Additionally, for American roulette, there is the Five-number bet which covers "0,00,1,2,3" and pays 6:1, and the Row 00 bet which covers 0 and 00 and pays 17:1.
Outside Bets
These bets do not involve specific numbers and are made on the outside of the number map, hence the name.
-
Color betting (red or black) pays 1 to 1.
-
Even or odd betting pays 1 to 1.
-
Column or betting on 12 numbers pays 2 to 1
-
Dozen betting (1st 12, etc.) pays 2 to 1
-
High or low bets pay 1 to 1.
How to Play & Win
Once the ball drops into one of the numbered pockets on the wheel, the dealer identifies and announces the winning number. After that he/she marks the number on the roulette table using a dolly (a marker). All players, whose bets won, are then paid, while losing bets are swept off the table.

Let's Play Baccarat
LIVE DEALER BACCARAT
Objective:
Is to correctly guess which of three possible propositions will win the round: Banker, Player, or Tie. Whichever hand is closest to nine is the winner.

Card Value:
The suit of a card has no bearing or value.
Cards numbered from 2 to 9 have face value.
10’s, jacks, queens, and kings are worth zero.
Aces have a value of 1.
Add the values of each card in the hand, dropping the tens place value to find the score.
For example, 7 + 7 = 14 results in a value of 4 when you drop the tens place value (the number 1 in 14).
How to Play:
Know that you can bet on either of two hands. One is the Banker's hand, the other is the Player's hand. A player may bet on either hand. Bets must be placed on either the Player or Banker before cards are dealt.
Know how cards are dealt. Two cards are dealt to both the Player and the Banker. A player or casino operator holding the shoe slides one card out and places it face up in the Player's box on the felt table. The next card, the first of the Banker hand, is placed in the Banker's box on the table. The house then deals another Player card, then the second Banker card. The dealer's first round consists of two cards for both the Player and Banker

Announce the point total of both of sets of cards. Tens and face cards all are worth zero points; all other cards are worth their face value, with the ace worth one point. If a total is more than 10, the second digit is the value of the hand. For example, a 9 and a 6, which total 15, make up a five-point hand. In order to win, your bet must be on the hand that totals closer to nine.

Understand the "natural" win. If in the first two cards dealt, the point total is 8 or 9 for either the Player or the Banker, this is called a natural win and the game is over. Bets that have already been placed are cashed out.

Determine whether the player gets a third card by looking at the point totals. The Player hand is completed first. A total of 8 or 9 for the Player will get no additional cards. The Player stands on totals of 6 or 7. On any other total, 0-5, the Player draws a third card, unless the banker has 8 or 9, in which case the bank hand wins with no further draw.

Know the rules governing the third card for the Banker. If the Player stands pat (or draws no new cards), the Banker draws with a hand total of 0-5 and stays pat with a hand total of 6 or 7. All other hands are dependent on the third card the Player draws:
-
If the Player’s third card is 9, 10, face-card or Ace, the Banker draws when he has a 0-3, and stays with a 4-7.
-
If the Player’s third card is 8, the Banker draws when he has a 0-2, and stays with a 3-7.
-
If the Player’s third card is 6 or 7, the Banker draws when he has a 0-6, and stays with a 7.
-
If the Player’s third card is 4 or 5, the Banker draws when he has a 0-5, and stays with a 6-7.
-
If the Player’s third card is 2 or 3, the Banker draws when he has a 0-4, and stays with a 5-7.
Once all cards are dealt, calculate the winning hand. The winning hand is that which totals closer to 9. In the event of a tie, neither hand wins or loses. Sometimes a commission is paid out of winnings when betting on the Banker's hand.

To Win:
You must pick the hand with the highest total.
You picked a Tie to win and there is a tie.
You bet on the Player and the hand wins, you win what you bet. A $5 bet pays back your $5, plus an additional $5.
If you bet on the Banker and the hand wins, you win your bet minus a 5% commission.* For example, a $5 bet pays back $5, plus an additional $4.75.
You bet on a Tie and if the Tie wins, you get nine times your bet. A $5 bet pays back $5, plus an additional $45.
